Rosie Assoulin began using her grandmother’s sewing machine to explore her identity and passion for fashion at the age of thirteen. She honed her skills under the tutelage of her mentor, Roxanne Assoulin, and later worked for Oscar de la Renta and Lanvin, where she was inspired by the elegance and creativity of her design idols. The Rosie Assoulin aesthetic combines fantasy and practicality, with a focus on luxury, emotion, and color. She designs for all types of women, aiming to express the complexities of life through her clothing.
Since launching her brand in 2014, Rosie Assoulin has committed to designing and manufacturing in New York City to support the local community and highlight the value of artisanal craftsmanship. Over 90% of each collection is created in New York, and she partners with local artisans to create her designs, which are all 100% cruelty free. Rosie also supports and empowers other female creatives through her partnerships and collaborations.
