June 7 | At 4:30 pm

 |  Glazer Hall

Celebrate 30 years of laughter with THE BIRDCAGE at GLAZER HALL! This beloved comedy classic, adapted from La Cage aux Folles, returns for a special anniversary screening featuring exclusive insight from American film critic, Leonard Maltin.

In this wildly funny and heartfelt film, Armand (Robin Williams) and Albert (Nathan Lane) have created the perfect life together running their vibrant South Beach nightclub. But their colorful world is thrown into chaos when Armand’s son (Dan Futterman) announces his engagement to the daughter (Calista Flockhart) of ultra-conservative Senator Keeley (Gene Hackman)— and both families are about to meet over dinner. Can Armand and Albert reinvent themselves as the picture-perfect “traditional” family in time for the evening? It’ll take the performance of their lives!

Join us for an unforgettable afternoon of comedy, chaos, and iconic performances in one of the most celebrated comedies of all time. Directed and produced by Mike Nichols, with a screenplay by Elaine May, The Birdcage also stars Dianne Wiest, Christine Baranski and Hank Azaria in his breakout role.
