Vogue: LoveShackFancy Launches a Dreamy Line of Homewares That Are Heirloom-Ready

“We never throw anything away in terms of textiles. So I had our factories send me all of our fabric scraps, which I use in our stores and at dinner parties. I’ve placed them all over tables as tablecloths. I made cushion chairs with them, I made pillows, I made napkins,” says Rebecca Hessel Cohen, founder of LoveShackFancy. “I was always just playing around with that personally and then people started to ask, when are we selling these?”

For a time, Hessel Cohen didn’t have an answer. But now, it’s: today! LoveShackFancy’s very first collection for the home is available online, as well as at the brand’s soon-to-be opened shop at Palm Beach’s Royal Poinciana Plaza.

Fans of the romantic label, and its dolly prairie dresses that look as though they should be worn during an alfresco nap in a wildflower meadow, can now infuse the same heady romance into their home. Among the collection are soft pieces—tablecloths, napkins, placemats, cloth napkin rings—splashed with the label’s custom-made, handpainted chintz and florals. “It’s really a mix of this kind of Victoriana meets Laura Ashley world, being able to match your table to your dresses and to your daughter’s bow and their dresses and everyone else in the room,” says Hessel Cohen.
