Step into Morocco this week without leaving Palm Beach, as home decor store The Grand Tour celebrates its anniversary with an Arabian Nights-themed two-day event.
Starting Thursday, The Royal Poinciana Plaza’s courtyard will be taken over by a 140-foot tent filled with treasures and antiques from around the world. The Grand Tour will feature a unique shopping experience with exclusive products from 14 international and local vendors, book signings, live portraiture, artwork from Sotheby’s and panel discussions with topics ranging from fashion to design, women leaders and philanthropy.
“It’s based on Moroccan souks, but its a modern interpretation of that,” store co-owner Caroline Cummings Rafferty said. “I thought it would be interesting to bring the world to Palm Beach.”
