A 75th birthday is no big deal in Palm Beach — really, there are more than a few folks in town who have attended their kid’s 75th birthday — but a 75th anniversary is something else.

And when that anniversary is attached to an organization with its literal roots in the manicured greenery of this town, well, now we have ourselves a party.

The Palm Beach Civic Association, established to “Keep Palm Beach, Palm Beach” marked the start of its diamond jubilee year with a cocktail reception for 300 members and guests.

The event took place Nov. 26 at the Royal Poinciana Plaza.
