Palm Beach Daily News Online: Coronavirus Florida: The Royal Poinciana Plaza resumes social event schedule

Palm Beach Daily News Online June 19, 2020

The Royal Poinciana Plaza in Palm Beach is inching toward normalcy as it resumes on-property events with the launch of a monthly outdoor shopping experience.

The shopping plaza recently announced a Shop to Table series where tenants will host a pop-up kiosk in front of their stores, allowing customers to shop outdoors while social distancing.

Shops at plaza began closing mid-March as the coronavirus disease spread throughout Florida. The mandatory closures also forced it to cancel its roster of regular events, including children’s program Wee Royals.

Starting at 10 a.m. Saturday, shops such as Virginia Philip Wine, Spirits & Academy will be offering samplings and special promotions, while eatery Coyo Taco will have a taco cart and flower shop Renny & Reed hosts a mini al fresco floral market. At noon, musicians Sierra Lane and Allegra Miles will play live music in the courtyard until 4 p.m.
