Aerin Lauder didn’t grow up in Palm Beach, but it’s dear to her heart all the same. She has fond memories of family visits to the Palm Beach home of her grandparents, the late cosmetics maven Estee Lauder and her husband, Joseph.
Today, billionaire Aerin Lauder is style and image director for Estee Lauder and founder and creative director of AERIN, her luxury lifestyle brand.
In 2017, she opened the AERIN Palm Beach boutique on Via Mizner.
She still feels a sense of excitement when she visits Palm Beach, where her and her sister Jane’s families and their parents, Jo Carole and Ronald Lauder, share a home. Her uncle Leonard Lauder has a residence next door.
Aerin Lauder talks about how her grandmother and Palm Beach have shaped her sense of style and shares some of her favorite things about the town in her new coffee table book, “Palm Beach,” a recent release from Assouline.
A by-invitation book signing and reception will be held Tuesday at AERIN Palm Beach. A public book signing is scheduled for Feb. 6 at Assouline in the Royal Poinciana Plaza.
