Palm Beach Daily News: Angela Puttini: One-of-a-kind jewelry portraying the stories and legends of Capri

Palm Beach Daily News March 5, 2020

Jewelry designer Antonella Puttini showcases her Angela Puttini Capri pieces in Palm Beach through Saturday. A trunk show, which opened last Thursday with lots of success, showcases her Capri-inspired earrings, necklaces, rings and bracelets made from corals, pearls and lava stones mixed with rubies, diamonds and emeralds.

Antonella started the company with her mother, Angela Puttini, after her father died in 1986. Her stores in Naples and Capri have a local and international following.

Kirna Zabête’s owner Beth Buccini has frequented the store since her early days of visiting Capri. During each visit, Buccini and her mother would stop by the Angela Puttini store for a new piece. She started featuring Angela Puttini designs in her store and hosted a trunk show on Feb. 20 where dozens of women expressed the same adoration.

“I really love all the stones and religious images. It’s a piece of art,” Maria Pompei of Boca Raton said. She likes the hand-carved designs on coral and lava stone, and how Puttini mixes the metals with precious stones. “I love this more than Bvlgari and Cartier.”
