On Friday, March 8th, The Royal Poinciana Plaza, the iconic Palm Beach lifestyle destination, will celebrate their first annual International Women’s Day celebration, TOGETHER, a new philanthropic initiative for female empowerment and female entrepreneurship.The event will go from 3pm to 6pm and include sips and nibbles, artist Lydia Marie Schraeder painting live portraits, a fashion presentation styled by Ella Barnette and Linsey Tambone celebrating women’s diversity, and panel discussion, presented by The Grand Tour by Caroline Rafferty. The panel will be moderated by Christina Nicholson, Founder of Media Maven, panelists include Lilly Leas Ferreira, General Manager of The Royal Poinciana Plaza, Sarah Gavlak, Founder and Gallerist of Gavlak Gallery, Virginia Phillip, Master Sommelier and Owner of Virginia Phillip Wine, Spirits & Academy, Caroline Rafferty, co-founder of The Grand Tour by Caroline Rafferty and Sarah Wetenhall, President & CEO of The Colony Palm Beach.
Proceeds from the event will benefit Impact the Palm Beaches, Dress for Success Palm Beaches, Women’s Chamber of Commerce of Palm Beach County and Junior League of the Palm Beaches. Tenants including The Grand Tour by Caroline Rafferty, Theory, 100% Capri, Kirna Zabête, Roller Rabbit, alice + olivia, Cynthia Rowley and Bognar & Piccolini will donate 10% of all proceeds to one of the four charities. In addition, The Royal Poinciana Plaza will be making separate donations to each of the four charities, including a Women in Business scholarship to one deserving student which will be awarded in June. The Grand Tour by Caroline Rafferty will also make an additional donation to each of the organizations.
Tenants participating in the fashion presentation include Valentina Kova, Orlebar Brown, Beach by Everything but Water, Kirna Zabête, Bognar & Piccolini, 100% Capri, Collective, Roller Rabbit, Zadig & Voltaire, Serenella, Cynthia Rowley and alice + olivia.

Together, with some of our area’s most influential women, we will be raising support and lending a voice to four local female-inspired nonprofits.”
