Throughout his career\, he has performed and recorded with jazz luminaries such as Elvin Jones\, McCoy Tyner\, Terence Blanchard\, Jack DeJohnette\, Geri Allen\, Joe Lovano\, and many others. \nBorn on Long Island and raised in Los Angeles\, Coltrane was profoundly influenced by his mother\, Alice Coltrane\, whose return to recording and performance he helped inspire.
