Palm Beach Social Diary: Don’t Miss the Gray Malin Holiday Reveal Party this Friday at The Royal Poinciana Plaza

Palm Beach Social Diary December 2, 2019

The Royal Poinciana Plaza has an epic ‘Holiday Reveal’ planned for their annual surfboard Christmas tree this year — and you won’t want to miss it! Join hundreds of guests for the free event, which will take place on Friday, December 6. Following the launch of his latest series, ‘Gray Malin in Palm Beach’, Malin will be the featured artist for this year’s tree.

For the occasion, Malin will reimagine the plaza’s 30- foot tree, donning 52 surfboards through the lens of his À La Plage series. Featuring individual images shot from a doorless helicopter captured from Palm Beach to the Hamptons to St. Tropez and beyond, Malin is celebrated around the world for his use of color, light, and shape. For the third annual surfboard tree, Malin plans to utilize all 52 boards to create a tree that is one all-encompassing beach image.

“I have always been drawn to Palm Beach as a global destination for timeless luxury and sophistication,” said Malin. “When The Royal Poinciana Plaza asked me to collaborate as the 2019 Holiday Reveal Artist, I was thrilled to translate my beloved aerial beach photography shots around the world to the property’s iconic surfboard Christmas Tree. I hope the dreamy ocean waves, scattered sunbathers, and bright beach umbrellas bring joy and holiday cheer to the wonderful residents and visitors who flock to Palm Beach to celebrate this magical time of year.”
