Palm Beach Post: Restaurants to go all-out for Thanksgiving

Suckling pig, vegetarian pot pie, pasta with wild-boar ragu.

Make way for them if you plan on dining out for Thanksgiving in Palm Beach.

It’s not that Nov. 28 won’t celebrate the holiday’s emblematic bird: The island’s restaurants will feature lots of turkey and trimmings with their Thanksgiving buffets and specials, often supplemented by their regular menus.

Look for turkey rollatini — a stuffed and rolled breast — in Royal Poinciana Plaza at Sant Ambroeus, where a three-course Thanksgiving affair ($85 a person) combines an appetizer-and-dessert buffet with a la carte entrée selections.

Other main-course selections at Sant Ambroeus range from pappardelle with wild-boar ragu, to a vegetarian selection: potato gnocchi with wild mushrooms, goat cheese and truffle sauce.
