Palm Beach Daily News: Virginia Philip to hold wine festival
From wine tastings with vintners to presentations with local chefs, master sommelier Virginia Philip’s eponymous wine-and-spirits shop in Royal Poinciana Plaza hosts an ongoing roster of events, but now comes the biggest of them all: a one-night wine festival.
The al fresco Nov. 22 affair is set to feature dozens of international wines and small-bites pairings as guests enjoy it all in the plaza courtyard behind Virginia Philip Wine Spirits & Academy (VPWSA). It will be held from 6 to 8 p.m.
The inaugural VPWSA Wine Festival is part of the wine-and-spirits shop’s second anniversary at Royal Poinciana Plaza. Philip, who’s also the wine director at The Breakers, debuted her business in the plaza in November 2017 after it had a longtime presence in downtown West Palm Beach.
