Starting Friday, the fine jewelry designer and New Yorker Nina Runsdorf is bringing her signature Flip Ring, as seen on the hands of Oprah and other celebrities, to The Royal Poinciana Plaza’s Serenella.
She will be hosting a trunk show through Saturday featuring her one-of-a-kind baubles alongside First Lady stylist and designer Hervé Pierre and Nicolas Caito.
Her designs offer a new twist on classic styles and feature pieces made to stand the test of time. Runsdorf is spearheading the jewelry business with her unique techniques setting her apart from what others are doing.
In 2009, she became the forerunner of incorporating slice diamonds in her line, a different diamond cut technique where rough stones are laser-cut and transmit light similar to stained-glass. She finishes off these pieces with gold and other diamonds to bring out the transparent, organic nature of each slice.
