Palm Beach Daily News: Darbster event benefits homeless animals
A trio of Royal Poinciana merchants opened their doors — and their hearts — for a Sip & Shop to benefit The Darbster Foundation. The event took place Feb. 14.
Roller Rabbit’s Doris Dixon organized the event with partner participants The Darbster Foundation, Alice + Olivia, and Bognar & Piccolini.
Adoptable critters amped up the cute factor for the afternoon, which also served served as a kickoff for the foundation’s Palm Beach dinner dance.
A portion of proceeds from the Sip and Shop were earmarked for the Darbster Foundation, a nonprofit animal welfare organization dedicated to reducing the number of homeless dog and cats euthanized in South Florida by transporting them to their shelters in New Hampshire, where the demand is significantly stronger.
